Keeping Our Principles

Dear Editor,

I was extremely relieved to see a follow-up article, "‘Flexible or Flawed' Co-op Laws," in the January issue of the Cooperative Grocer making the point that LLCs offer nothing new to co-ops but, instead, co-ops have much to offer the LLCs. 

I think we can take pride in the fact that the corporate "raiders" are hot on our trail, as long as we realize that yielding our principles—like one owner, one vote—will result in our yielding the very things upon which our success is built.
